As everyone knows, the Superbowl was yesterday.

The Seahawks were the team I was rooting for (as they’re local and have never been to the game in their 40 years of existence). Sadly… I was on the wrong side of things.

The game itself was farily horrible. The referees appeared to be making one-sided calls. They might as well handed the Steelers the trophy at the beginning and saved me 4 hours of pain. Had the game been overseen by different officials, I think that the outcome would have been totally different.

As for the half-time show… dear mother of God! Give me Janet Jackson’s nipple any day! Seeing Mick Jager bump and grind his 63 year old hips to the occasionally muted lyrics of “Start me Up”, “Satisfaction” and “Rough Justice” (gotta censor those naughty innuendos) was enough to make me ill. Seriously.

Even the commercials were tame this year (with a few exceptions). FedEx (caveman), Ameriquest (that killed him), and Bud Light (secret fridge) were about the highlight of it. You can watch them all here.

In review: it sucked the big chalupa… sideways.

The game kicks off in about 50 minutes, so I have that long to get off my fat ass and walk next door for my neighbors Superbowl party.

I’m not a sports fan, but it’s fun to watch the commercials (they’re usually quite funny) and, as always, it’s an excuse to drink beer.

I’m all about option number 2!

I did drag my baby out of the garage today, washed the dust and cat paw prints off of it, and take it out for my first ride of the year. Of course, it was only 50 degrees (10 celsius) out, so I didn’t go very far or very fast (it was mighty cool on the skin out there!).

She’s a 2000 Yamaha Royal Star Boulevard	Kuryakyn ISO grips with stiletto tips… wicked sexy!!

The image above is a little old. I put on new pipes last year and had the carbs re-jetted (she’s a little louder and a lot quicker now). I’ve also replaced the grips with Kuryakyn ISO grips with stiletto tips. Now that’s sexy!

Ok… another day, another theme on the blog.

I think I like this one.  Of course, it’s just a matter of time before I change it again, but perhaps this one will beat the 1 week record of the previous theme champion.

As I just can’t seem to leave well enough alone, I’ve done a little modification to the title graphic of the site.

This captures my essence more truely than the previous one.

When you look at it, just think to yourself “Repeat until dead” and you’ll understand. 🙂
