Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day!!

To celebrate,  I’m running the TFS Core Suite with the Pirate plug-in to convert the entire website into authentic pirate lingo.

Of course, this will only last one day and you won’t be able to talk like a pirate for another year (without sounding totally retarded), so make the most of it!!

Arrrrrg!!

Today is a much better day than yesterday was.

While I’m still too damn foggy in the head to write any usable code, I found other ways to fill my time at work: mucking about with Adobe Illustrator CS3!

One of the guys in my department needed a map of the USA, Canada, and Mexico that shows the outlines of each state/province in an EPS format. Since the only thing he could find like that online cost $300, I made him one. While it’s not absolutely perfect, it’s close enough for his purposes.

So… I thought I’d share.

There are days when everything just sucks… and today is one of those days.

I feel like I’m in limbo. All I do is wait for appointments with my doctor and my neurologist. Time is counted out in increments of 4, 6, and 12 hours (when I take my medications).

When I take my meds, I’m so fuzzy that I can’t work. I just sit in my cube and stare at the screen. I have tried working, but writing code with a head full of morphine and oxycodone = bad things (the kind that take hours to fix later).
