Golly, that was fun!
I had my nerve induction test today.
It involved getting nearly naked in a freezing room and included needles and electricity. If that’s not a recipe for a party, I don’t know what is!
While it’s not something I would want to repeat (yes… there is pain involved), I’ve had worse. I was able to walk out the door and down the street two blocks to get some lunch after they finished.
Of course, since several hours have passed, I’m finding that I’m getting pretty sore.
That which doesn’t kill you will make you stronger…. but you’d be amazed at what you can actually live through.
Other news: It’s apparently impossible to take a day off from work. You schedule it off, you plan to do things, the phone will ring and you will have to deal with it.

That’s what answering machines and/or voice mail is for – so you can pick and choose which calls you want to respond to. 🙂
Well … I am scheduled for the same test next month… the only difference I can tell is that my Dr is a very cute, sexy, blonde… I sure hope the combination of pain and sexy Dr don’t cause a wooden performance…
Come to think of it, I wonder if that did happen, if I could bring the needles and electricity home….
