God hates the world

This is probably one of the most disturbing items on the web at the moment. Of course, this comes from the Westboro Baptist Church, the same “ministry” that attends soldier funerals and scream that God hates them and the dead are going to hell (a real class act, for sure).

The last few seconds are the most disturbing.

Thanks to miftah for finding the video.

I wonder if irony is lost on them. Many of the church’s second generation are lawyers. I wonder if they’re aware of music publishing laws. Even fair use for parody and criticism doesn’t protect them in this instance. One hopes Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson bring the law down on them like thunder from the mountain.

I was thinking the exact same thing, miftah. For once, I’d love to see the RIAA exact it’s special kind of vengeance.

On a side note, I also wonder if these people have ever read the New Testament. They seem to base everything on Mosaic law (which was overturned by Jesus). Since they seem to live by Leviticus, I hope they don’t eat pork, shrimp, crab, or lobster…. because that’s a sin under Mosaic law.

In my opinion, they’re just a bunch of morons who love the attention they get from the media.

I think they’re great. They’re one of the strongest forces in existence against bigotry. If anyone were thinking, “Hey I don’t care for them gays,” all they have to do is to look at the toothless Kooks from Kansas. I suspect they’ve opened more doors for tolerance for homosexuality than anyone in the world. Not that they themselves were smart enough to have worked this out intentionally, but the byproduct is irrefutable.

This particular religious group is a bigger crock of shit than most of the organized religions ie: CULTS. But at least belonging to it gives them some level of self-importance in their pathetic lives. Maybe they will follow in the steps of Jim Jone’s Peoples Temple and do the whole world a favor.

Ok to stay out of hot water I shall say nothing LOL. Other than interesting comments from observers. But hate is hate, spades are spades, and ducks are ducks!

Replace the word God with we and you get the true picture. The last was the worst part. Just think of the future of that poor brainwashed child. For that matter, all of them.

This is one of many reasons why I fear organized religion. Get enough people together and they start truely believing that “they” are right and everyone else is wrong. That grows stronger and stronger because now they have someone to shout “YA” with them. I know I come from a liberal state and City, but you know what? This church has some (Anger management) SERIOUS issues.
