Another trip around the sun
I celebrated another year on this earth on Friday. I guess this also means that I need to update my “Airplane Dance Around the World” page, as it occurs on the exact same day (what are the odds?!?).
The celebration was pretty low key…. in fact, it’s was a real non-event. We didn’t do cake and icecream, there was no singing, and we celebrated by watching dinosaur programs and finger painting with our 5 year old grandson, Zander, who happened to be spending the night with us. It was a nice evening 🙂
Other than that, not much has been going on. I’m still playing GTA 5 (and others) with the same group of people and I’m still building Gundam models to pass the time (currently the Gundam Exia, Trans AM mode 1/100 Master Grade model).
I am watching the current COVID19 outbreak in our Nations capitol with trepidation and outrage. I guess this is what happens when you can’t be bothered to take the simplest of precautions.

Wearing a mask saves lives, plain and simple.
Wearing a mask is your civic responsibility. It slows the spread of the disease in our nation, slowing the loss of jobs, lives, and the devastating impact to our economy. If you’re a Patriot… protect yourself, your loved ones, your country: wear a mask, wash your hands, practice social distancing.

That’s about all I have for now. Sorry for the politics bit, but I’m sick of a minority party hijacking our nation, and its stupidity while in power. History will look back upon this Administration and Senate in unkindly. Their legacy will be shame. On the other hand, they’ve really improved the legacy of G.W. Bush… he doesn’t look nearly as horrible now.
